The role

An IT environment cannot be managed supplier by supplier.

Sumatoni steers the environment as one coherent whole and coordinates the suppliers involved with the network, systems or users.

A commercial model that stays fair

Predictable where it should be. Usage-based where it makes sense.

The project, maintenance and support are separated so that each part can be priced on the right basis.

01

Projects

A clear scope, architecture and schedule. Major work is proposed at a predictable price before execution.

02

Maintenance

The known recurring effort is agreed in advance and priced annually, with monthly payment possible.

03

Support

Remote and on-site assistance is billed for time worked. No per-user bundle.

No per-user bundle. Support remains tied to the work actually performed.

Work completed

Three concrete examples of managing IT as a whole.

Sumatoni takes stock of the existing environment, sets priorities with the client and carries out the approved changes. The aim is not to replace everything, but to make the infrastructure controlled, documented and maintainable.

01Network · 100+ employees

Regaining control of a network without replacing everything

Starting point

An organisation with more than 100 employees and hundreds of visitors each day still relied on unmanaged switches, poorly documented cabling and personal switches that could create network loops.

Work undertaken
  • Replaced the unmanaged switches that genuinely had to go first
  • Centralised management and inventoried the equipment
  • Prevented personal switches from creating network loops
  • Reworked and inventoried the UTP cabling
Result

A documented, manageable network that is better protected against avoidable incidents and ready for the next phases of work.

Sumatoni’s role

Sumatoni set the priorities with the client, carried out the necessary changes and retained a coherent view of the whole environment.

02Systems · Secure remote work

Giving users secure access to business applications with the right permissions

Starting point

Business resources and applications had to remain available to employees, including remotely. Frequent staff turnover also made it important to create new users easily with permissions suited to their role.

Work undertaken
  • Commissioned servers and remote desktops
  • Organised user account creation
  • Created differentiated access profiles
  • Implemented individual VPN access for secure remote work
Result

Employees access their work environment securely. Creating a user and assigning the right permissions is simpler and more consistent, even when teams change frequently.

Sumatoni’s role

Sumatoni designed the architecture, commissioned the servers and remote desktops, configured permissions and secured external access.

03Continuity · Multiple environments

Monitoring, backing up and preparing recovery

Starting point

From organisations with fewer than 10 people to environments with more than 100 employees, the scale changes but the need for visibility and recovery remains.

Work undertaken
  • Implemented local and off-site server backups
  • Established a disaster recovery approach
  • Inventoried and monitored infrastructure assets
  • Sent messaging alerts according to incident severity
Result

Critical incidents are reported directly by phone messaging, while data and servers are covered by a recovery strategy suited to the environment.

Sumatoni’s role

Sumatoni designed and deployed a proportionate continuity approach, without over-equipping the client.

A project to launch, an infrastructure to take over, or simply questions?

Explain the situation to Sumatoni. The first conversation will identify what needs attention, in what order, and whether we are the right partner.
